Take "your online pregnancy test." It is fun and easy and will give you a good idea whether or not it is worth it for you to go and buy a cheap pregnancy test.

So if you are here because you think you might be pregnant then we can help.

Signs and symptoms of pregnancy are many but not all can be attributed solely to pregnancy. This is the reason why they are usually divided into three categories:

  • Presumptive: These are the signs you may notice in your body which are commonly but not exclusively associated with early pregnancy symptoms.

  • Probable: These are signs which are usually due to pregnancy but may also be present in other conditions. They are not absolute indications that you are indeed pregnant.

  • Positive: These are the signs which leave no doubt that the changes that are occurring in your body are indeed because you are pregnant. However, most of those signs cannot be detected until the 13th week of pregnancy.

  • Since by the time you experience probable or positive signs and symptoms of pregnancy, you will probably know for sure, "your online pregnancy test" will concentrate on the early signs.

  • Do you have a sense that you may be pregnant?
Otherwise called a "gut feeling," this can sometimes be accurate. Some women just seem to "know" when they have conceived. Are you one of them?

  • Are you late or have you missed a period?
"Being late" isn't all that unusual but if you are regular like clockwork then it is certainly something to consider.

  • Breast changes.
Are your breasts tender and do they seem swollen? Breast tenderness can be a very good indication that you are pregnant.

  • Increased skin pigmentation.
If you are pregnant, your skin pigmentation will change and become darker. This will be especially noticeable around the areola of your nipples.

  • Nausea and vomiting.
...enough said. However, not all women experience nausea and/or vomiting, there are indeed a lucky few who seem to be untouched by these symptoms.

  • Increased urination - aka peeing all the time!
The added weight of your uterus will place added pressure on your bladder especially in the first trimester - 1 to 13 weeks. You will get a reprieve when your uterus tips out of your pelvic cavity during the second trimester - 14 to 26 weeks. However, the added weight of your growing baby will once again place pressure on your bladder during the 3rd trimester - 27 weeks to birth.

  • Are you tired "all" the time with what it seems no valid reason?

  • Abdominal enlargement.
This is a nice way to say "is your tummy sticking out?" or worse "do you look chubby?" Then again some women manage to "hide" their baby for months. Others seem to "show" as soon as the pregnancy test turns positive!

  • Elevated body temperature.
If you take you temperature regularly you will notice that it goes up after ovulation and for about 10 to 14 days - called luteal phase - and then drops again after your periods. If your temperature stays elevated for 21 days past ovulation...congratulations, you are pregnant!

  • A strange sense of smell.
Indeed due to hormonal changes your sense of smell - and taste - will be affected. You may have an aversion to smells you used to think were "divine" and now just make your stomach turn. Same thing with foods.

  • If you answered yes to many of the questions from "your online pregnancy test"...a trip to the store for a home pregnancy test may be in order!
