Twin pregnancy and nausea
by Dialma

Hi,
I am 8 weeks along with twins. I have always believed in eating 100-120 grams of protein, along with lots of vegetables, fruits, nuts, super low sugary foods, and a gallon of water. I also exercise regularly, especially weight lifting. Now with the morning sickness, it is VERY HARD for me to take in any kind of meat, and I can barely stomach water, and it takes all my energy to go to work - I don't exercise at all! It is causing me serious guilt because I am unable to feed myself and my developing twins the quality food I have always believed in consuming.
How did you handle your nutrition and exercise when you dealt with the nausea? I have tried all home remedies and am even taking Zofran, which brings some relief but not enough. I often just tell myself to stuff the healthy food down whether I find it appetizing or not... but that is hard to do with the intense nausea. Any advice or tips would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks!!
