Site Dedication

When the idea came to Florence to do a website, she wanted to do something that would not only benefit you, but bless you as well.

We were neither looking for a business nor a website but were perfectly content being wives and mothers. However, when the opportunity was presented to us to share our passion...we were very excited. But could we truly do it? Could we pull it off?

We prayed about it and left it to open - or close - the doors for us.

We decided to go ahead and share what we are deeply and truly passionate about: natural pregnancy and birth, breastfeeding, natural health and family. Yes, it is a huge undertaking...but well worth it if we accomplished our task of impacting lives for the better.

This site is also a "legacy" for our children. A legacy of the road we travelled to find the truths presented in this site. Truths they will no longer have to go and find out. Truths which have shaped the parents and persons we now are. Truths we also hope will shape the parents they become and therefore truths which will impact the next generations.

We believe that our bodies were designed by God to do these magnificent acts of conceiving life, nurturing it in our wombs, birth our babies and nurture them at the breast. Truly the truths presented in this site are not new but instead old treasures rediscovered.

In our current age, we have forgotten and lost our faith in the way He created us. Propaganda, untruths and fear tactics have left us fearful and sometimes downright terrified of the birthing process. Motherhood has become the code word for slavery, something we must break away from to "find ourselves."

Yet, we believe something very powerful has been lost...Women are so powerful in birth and as mothers. We get to birth life and then nurture that life. We impact the next generation that will live on this earth and therefore the next and the next and...

We are not helpless victims - unless we choose to be.

We are better people today because we became mothers. We have not taught our children as much as they have taught us. There is something powerful in learning to give of ourselves for the sake of others.

After all isn't it what a hero is?

Someone who lays down his life for the sake of another? Mothers do that each and every day.

A hero...yes that is whom a mother is... or at least should be.

We wanted to share with you how natural motherhood was meant to be from beginning.

We pray that you may be blessed in all you do, may you be empowered to mother the natural way knowing the rewards and blessings are many.

We dedicate this site to our Heavenly Father, thank you for having made this site possible.

We also dedicate this site to our families - husbands and children - for putting up with long hours on the computers...but also for supporting us, encouraging us and cheering us on.

Lastly we dedicate this site to you the reader for taking the time and for keeping us on the web.
