Back Pain

I had two epidurals in my life. One was with my second child and the other was with my third. I have given birth to three children total.

The first one was natural with no problems at all.

I have serious lower back pain that hurts so badly. I barely could take care of my baby when I got out the hospital. I believe the epidural is the cause of my back pain since I did not experience this until after I had my second epidural.

I have always had a strong back until I let them administer an epidural on me. I really had no other choice since they did an emergency c-section on me.

I take pain medication all the time. This is not how I wanted to spend the rest of my life. I think you guys are right about believing the epidural caused your daughter's back troubles.

I think so....my mother had an emergency c-section, with I was born.

She and I were going to die, so even after 26 years ,she still has back pain from the epidural.

I think the answer to this question is yes. The failed and repeated attempts to perform the epidural may have caused damage which may be the source of her pain.

Most Mom's assume that epidurals have little or no side effects, the truth is that's just not the case.

I would refer her to a chiropractor, I'm sure they have them in England.

I'm so sorry she's in such debilitating pain I hope she finds answers soon and gains relief.
