pitocin induction

I was induced with pitocin for 12 hours only to be sent home after 26 hours in the hospital because I was not dialating... so now I am home and waiting for the baby to decide when he will be born.

The pitocin shortened and softened my cervix but that is about it. I am 40 weeks today according to due date calendars. We shall see when he decides to be born. The contractions that I experienced with the pitocin were not very intense.

And I was at the max dose according to my doctor.
