Herbs: Unsafe During Pregnancy?

Throughout history, women have used herbs while pregnant to ensure a healthy pregnancy as well as to speed up and enhance childbirth.

In short, herbs are part of our human heritage. They are a gift to us all.

Herbal remedies work in harmony with the way you were designed. All intricate substances of the plants work to support and feed your body.

In comparison, all the synthetic substances found in pharmaceutical drugs tax your delicate system and must be cleansed out because they are perceived as harmful - and they are. It is a fact that ALL drugs are toxic.

However, even though herbal remedies have a very long history of safe use, not all herbal remedies are harmless. Some plants are very potent and are dangerous to the untrained.

Herbs are medicine!

Treat them with the respect they deserve and they will do well by you.

Here is a list of herbs which should not be used while pregnant.

You will note that some of the herbs listed can be used during the last few weeks of your pregnancy or during your labor with no ill effects.
