Co-sleeping results in healthy, well adjusted children.

Hi, I am an expectant mom aged 27 living is South Africa.

I totally disagree with the research that co-sleeping is not healthy for infants.

Because of many factors: including cultural and economic factors, Black people in South Africa (and many parts of Africa) did not have nurseries in their homes. T

he children slept with the parents, I and my 4 siblings are "products" of co-sleeping. When the time came to transition to our beds it was not a hassel. We are all healthy, well adjusted adults.

I think co-sleeing is frowned upon in the Western culture, but in our culture it is an excepted way of child up bringing.

My economic status has changed to that of my parents - but that said, I will co-sleep with my child as I know it is the better option.
