Complete Guide to Natural Healing
This complete guide to natural healing will show you that natural remedies are very powerful. No matter which of the
schools of natural healing you favor, they all can heal.
The benefit is that they work with your body and that most of them are 100% non-toxic and will neither
harm you nor your baby.
On the other hand, ALL drugs whether over the counter or prescription MUST be toxic to be labeled as such. If it is not
toxic then it is not a drug and
falls under the category of natural remedy.
Let's start with - as Paul Harvey would say - The Rest of the Story...
Complete Guide of Natural Healing: The Story
When you are sick and you go to the doctor, you take it for granted that you are going to see a person who knows how to get you well.
The physician diagnoses your ailment, and then, writes a prescription for a drug that will take care of your problem.
Right?
But...
...How would you feel if the doctor's "prescription" was for natural remedies, an herbal medicine, a homeopathic remedy, perhaps even an
essential oil or just some plain "old" some nutritional advice?
What?
With the growing popularity of integrative medicine, more and more people are beginning to embrace a more natural approach to medicine and
this does include natural remedies.
However, it was not that long ago that there were no choices.
Any physician who didn't practice "modern" medicine was labeled a quack and run out of town.

Complete Guide of Natural Healing: In The Beginning
Modern Medicine often calls itself Traditional Medicine and any other system of medicine is called Alternative.
Now, keep in mind that modern medicine has only been around for a little over 100 years.
Alternative medicine on the other hand, which is the true traditional medicine, has been around for much longer.
So you ask: How did the new become "Traditional" and the old "Alternative?"
How did modern medicine get such a stronghold on the field of "healing?"
Did you know that during the 19th century in the United States, there were two different types of doctors:
The allopath who prescribed drugs and did crude surgeries and
The traditional healer who prescribed various natural approaches.
Neither of them dominated the marketplace.
However, some of the allopathic doctors weren't too happy about the competition.
Sound familiar?
The American Medical Association - also called the AMA - was formed in 1847 and by 1883 it started to publish The Journal
of the American Medical Association or JAMA.
In 1901, the AMA released this statement:
"The growth of the profession must be stemmed - as in
pruned (our translation) - if individual members are
to find the practice of medicine a lucrative career."

Complete Guide of Natural Healing: The Demise of Natural Remedies
The AMA asked the Carnegie Foundation to survey all medical schools and issue a report as to how to "fix" the system.
The Carnegie Foundation commissioned Abraham Flexner.
In 1910, he released the Flexner Report which stated that there were not only too many doctors, but also too many that practiced
"non-scientific medicine."
Bye-Bye natural remedies.
The purpose of this report was to standardize the field of medicine, to determine adequate
doctor training, to eliminate alternative doctors,
and to limit the number of traditional doctors.
Based on this report alone, schools of healing that offered training in various alternative
disciplines - natural remedies - were told to either drop these
courses or lose their accreditation and underwriting support - basically "get out of town."
The results: In 1904, there were 160 M.D. granting institutions.
By 1935, there were only 66.

Complete Guide of Natural Healing: The War Is On
The AMA wanted to get rid of traditional - alternative - medicine once and for all.
Two men accomplished this task - George Simmons and Morris Fishbein.
Both were heads of the AMA and editors of JAMA.
They started labeling alternative practitioners as "quacks."
Now, keep in mind that neither of these two men were doctors...
Simmons was never a doctor, although he spent years in medical practice - he
obtained a diploma by mail from Rush Medical College, a diploma mill.
Fishbein did complete studies at a medical school, although he never
completed his internship, never received a diploma, and never practiced
medicine a day in his life.
Basically, they were business men and ...
...corrupt ones at that!
They made deals with pharmaceutical companies who would make a large donation to the AMA in return for the "AMA Seal of Approval."
Simmons and Fishbein would pretty much toss a coin at which drug would get their Seal of Approval.
Then, before the approval of the drug, they would buy stock.
Remember...
...they were businessmen...not doctors.
The damage was done.
The public was - and still is - led to believe that only a doctor who practices modern medicine knows what is best.
Even though things are changing towards natural healing, there is still a reliance on the doctor of modern
medicine to be the trusted final word
in helping us to be healthy.
We are very sorry to say research does NOT bear witness to this point of view.
Note:
We must say that modern medicine is second to none when it comes to two issues:
Trauma
Surgery
Our surgeons - OBGYNs fall in that category - are amazing and they do a superb job at saving many lives. That aside, their training makes
them ill prepared to preserve your health.
The United States spent the most money of any nation on health care, yet we are the most obese nation
on the planet and our international ranking for health care is abysmal... ...and getting worse.
Looking to a doctor to preserve your health, or to tell you how to, would be like you hiring a PhD. in child
psychology to baby-sit your three year old!
Moreover, pregnancy is NOT a disease.

Complete Guide of Natural Healing: Facts and Conclusion
Please, consider these facts:
All pharmaceutical drugs - to be labeled as such - must pass an LD-50, meaning that
any and every drug on the market must be able to kill and be toxic.
No drug has ever
been proven safe for an unborn baby. Their safety - for obvious reasons - is tested only for the unpregnant mother.
In August of 2003, the British Medical Journal reported that with the use of common pain killers - such as Advil, Motrin
and Aleve - the risk of miscarriage
increases by as much as 80%.
43% of ALL drugs cause cancer in animals.
In light of this information, you may want to take a second look at some "alternative" remedies such as:
Essentials oils - Aromatherapy
Flower essences
Herbs - Herbal remedies
Homeopathy
These natural remedies have been around much longer than the "traditional" model and have proven both effective and safe.
You will indeed find that their track record impeccable.
