buldging discs L-4 to S1

I had a very long & difficult labor & delivery in February of 2008, 36 hrs after being induced 2 times - a week apart.
I was only a week late, but had high BP & was on bedrest for 7 weeks prior.
I did have an epidural initially & 2 more injections after the 1st during the d/l process.
I now have herniated, buldging & pertruding discs, starting @ L-4 to S1, with severe sciatica pain that goes down my right leg to my toes.
I have had multiple treatments since, including P/T, chiropractic, epidural injections x3 again. All with no success.
The latest reccomendation was an Ablation to the nerve ends for the sciatica pain.
I recenly detoxed myself from all my pain meds & muscle relaxers.
I am still in severe pain & cannot do my daily tasks including taking care of my son.
Could this be a side effect of the original epidural given during labor?
If so can you recommend any treatment?
I am trying to lose some weight, but find it hard to exercise as the pain gets even worse. I know this is a big factor in my problem. I do alot of stretching as taught in P/T.
I feel like I am at a loss & have a lot of guilt for not being able to take care of my family, this has turned into a depression issue now as well.
I would appreciate any help or suggestions, recommendations.
Thank you for your time,
Desperate for some relief, Jamie
