These natural birth diaries are compiled to inspire you. You will find homebirth stories as well as hospital birth stories...

...All of them are natural childbirth stories.

We know that there are people who feel that a hospital birth cannot be natural. We disagree.

While we are homebirthers ourselves, we believe that the women who give birth in the hospital without medications and a minimum of interventions must be commended. If you had a homebirth yourself, you know that women who give birth in a hospital have a much tougher battle than homebirthers to have the birth they want.

Some women - for medical reasons - must birth in a hospital. Their dedication and hard work should not be negated because of where their child was born.

We do believe that to birth at home is wonderful, powerful, natural and most of all very safe.

If you have never birthed a baby and want a natural birth, be encouraged. Natural childbirth is a wonderful experience. Giving birth to your child in your own power is an amazing event...truly a life changing event. We believe - and science confirms it - that natural childbirth is best and safest. We also believe that you can have the birth you want.

May you be inspired and encouraged.
