Belly measuring

I would not be concerned with measuring around your waist how you would to find a pair of pants, what is measured is from the top of belly (just below bra/ where your rib cage stops) to the bottom of belly (just above your public bone.

The average is 1 inch for every week you are pregnant, so at 18 weeks you should measure around 18 to 19 inches.

Please remember every woman and pregnancy of are different but you can always check with a doctor or midwife if you have further concerns.

Hi Faith,

Belly measurement are highly innacurate. A fundal measurement is much more accurate.

Try laying down on your back and try to feel for the top of your uterus. You should be 2 fingerbreaths below your navel to 1 fingerbreath above. Anything around there is normal :)

But remember, there are a lot of variables at play.
