Aromatherapy Recipes for Pregnancy and Labor

Aromatherapy recipes for pregnancy and labor can come in really handy. Essential oil benefits are many and have been tested over centuries. Their therapeutic values have been recognized for a very long time.

What is an essential oil?

The short answer is that an essential oil is the volatile liquid - oil - distilled from plant materials (flowers, shrubs, bark, stems, etc). This oil carries nutrients from the plant in a very concentrated form.

How can you determine if you have the real thing?

Not easily and certainly not with your senses. The reason we like Young Living Essential oils is that first and foremost they were recommended by both a practitioner and a D.O. who uses them exclusively. So for us there was the trust factor.

Also these oils are the only ones in the US which have the AFNOR label - Association French Normalization Regulation - as well as the ISO - International Standards Organization - which are issued by the French essential oils medical governing board.

So when Young Living says their oils are therapeutic grade...their oils ARE therapeutic grade! So when you are dealing with these oils, you are getting pure aromatherapy.

Essential oils are wonderful for pregnancy and labor use. You know that many ailments can be relieved by using the right oil, and a prenatal massage with some aromatherapy massage oils are wonderful treats.
