I have noticed you "like" many of the comments I leave on Facebook. Thank you for your support.

I loved your story, and feel you are one of those wiser women who have helped me to discover and believe that everything I have been feeling about pregnancy, labor, birth and mothering are all completely normal and natural.

I absolutely thank you for your continued support, knowledge and experience that you share on this website and on Facebook.

Right now, I am 34 weeks pregnant with my second baby. Though a home birth is not in the forecast for me (primarily financial reasons), I am gaining more and more confidence to experience as much natural labor at home once again.

My first pregnancy ended with a 42 hour long labor (24 hours at home, 36 hours unmedicated and the last 6 hours with an epidural and pitocin), eventually lead to a c-section.

While I don't view that experience as at all traumatic or unnecessary, I would love to experience a completely natural labor and birth (though, not at home). Here's praying for one!

I have noticed myself being led in much the same direction you have described...natural remedies and alternatives to the status quo in medication, pregnancy, labor and mothering.

I do look up to women, such as yourself, to help guide me in the direction I wish to take, and I praise God people like you are set before me. So, again, I thank you and ask that you keep the knowledge, wisdom and compassion flowing.
