These healthy muffins are good for you and they make an especially good chronic constipation treatment. In any case, they are a great way to add much needed fiber to your diet. Ingredients for Best Bran MuffinsDirectionsIn a large bowl mix the flour, flaxseed meal, oat bran, brown sugar, baking soda, baking powder, salt and cinnamon. Stir in the carrots, apples, raisins and nuts. Combine the milk, beaten eggs and vanilla. Next, pour liquid ingredients into dry ingredients. Stir until moistened. DO NOT over mix. Fill muffin cups about 1/4 full and bake at 350 degrees for about 15 to 20 minutes.
