Dr. Alan HirschAlan Hirsch M.D., F.A.C.P. is a neurologist and psychiatrist working on the treatment of smell and taste loss through essential oil research. Dr. Hirsch studies the use of therapeutic essential oils and more specifically peppermint essential oil. He is the Neurological Director of the Smell and Taste Research and Treatment Foundation in Chicago, U.S. Hirsch is currently conducting over 80 research projects ranging from how the sense of smell affects weight and mood to more complex conditions like depression and panic disorder. He lectures frequently in the U.S. and has extensively published many findings.
